Update from Papa's computer

Last night was rough, I didn't go to bed until 1am, and in the 7 hours that I was in bed, Lucy woke up 8-9 times, I sort of lost count. Good thing it doesn't happen every night! Here's proof that she really does sleep!

Sometimes she needs a little boatman in her hand to fall asleep.

She always starts off in the crib, but sometimes finds her way over onto the bed, which we obviously think is hilarious because we always take pics of it.

Sling snoozes are classic, too. I strap her on then do some dishes or other chores and soon enough zzzzzz

Jason's friend flew home today. The plan was for Lucy and me to accompany Jason on the trip, but the flight was delayed and the little bean crawled off of the bed, cried for a while and then fell asleep about 15 minutes before we wanted to leave and I certainly did not want to wake her.

We used to have the end of the bed padded with Meme's bed and pillows to keep her from getting hurt if she crawled off, but she hadn't done it in so long, I thought she was past that phase.

Instead of napping with her like I should have, I clocked some internet time and listed some books for sale. I have sold 3 so far and I just listed them yesterday and today! Woohoo!

After Jason came back from Tampa, we ate lunch then ran some errands. Next it was sleepy time for me and Lucy :-) During our nap Papa worked on setting up a new work station for me with one of his computers and he straightened up his desk a little. When we woke up I had to do some major dusting since Jason's OCD unfortunately does not apply to dust and it doesn't bother him enough to it was off to run some more errands. Next came dinner, bath and sleepy time for Lucy!

She is certainly walking a lot more now. She walks along the wall just touching it with one hand every once in a while and she can go for longer stretches walking slowly but surely until she goes back down on all fours to crawl again. I am really amazed at how fast she is getting the hang of it.

Ok, gotta get to bed so I'm not so cranky in the morning!

Coming soon: baby wearing blog. The carrier Rita and I started and Christine finished is AWESOME and I can't wait to get it in the blog along with all the other carriers I have. :-D

  1. Kate just is not wanting to take those alone steps... she's still very happy holding on to someone or something.

Sleep problems can be a side effect of beinging a new stage of development, or learning a new skill. Maybe she's going to take off walking soon.
