We moved Lucy's crib next to the bed so it is like a big family bed. This gives us extra space and we can still spy on our little angel without getting out of bed. It happens pretty often that she ends up on the big bed and she has crawled over to Papa after a nap a couple of times to wake him up with her little hands to a big baby smile!

I have been busy crafting whenever I can, as usual. I finally finished the baby legs I have been working on for some time now. Complete with elastic to keep them on those chubby legs! Can't wait to make Lucy a pair, now!

Here is a pic of Lucy on Easter

Papa thought this was funny, such a little baby on such a big

Here are the crochet Easter cozies I made for Lucy's Easter basket, and the naturally dyed eggs. Some other mommas and I got together to dye the eggs with natural ingredients like spices, lemon peels, carrots, and fruit to dye the eggs. We also threw in some kool aid since the colors didn't seem to be taking after about an hour.

Meme enjoyed the eggs more than Lucy did. While we were loading the car, one of the eggs fell out of the basket. As Jason was picking it up, Meme smacked it out of his hand with her paw and started eating it. We got it away from her and put it in the car on the floorboard of the passenger side. I proceeded to put Lucy in her car seat while Meme was in the front seat. Before we knew it Meme had the same egg again and was eating it. This is how it ended up.

The penguin on the right was created for Jason a couple of years ago when I was a novice knitter and the penguin on the left was created about a month ago. Funny to see how much better I have gotten. The same yarn was used for both. I must be knitting tighter or I used smaller needles or something. Regardless, they are both cute.
My mom came to visit from April 13-24. While we were shopping at Goodwill she found this amazing stash of wool! I am excited to use it!!
Here are the juggling balls I made a second time so Jason can have some stress balls and I can juggle with them.
Lucy started crawling around the 13th and is unstoppable! She is so fast now and we really have to watch her to make sure she doesn't get into anything she isn't supposed to. She just pulled the PS2 console off of the tv stand, so I am going to finish up distract her with some baby friendly toys. Here is Jason's fav video, hope it works here.

that is the best video, I'm going to add a few soon. It's a laugh that we love now, and will forget soon if it isn't preserved. Enjoy these moments they are special when they come along.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how they change as soon as they can move around! I love kate's crawl, even though it's exhausting to chase her.
